Human beings at the focus.

When constructing the new Thermenregion Baden Provincial Hospital, special attention was paid to innovation and a new approach to hospital design. On this basis, we have created a cutting-edge health centre for outstanding medical care that moreover meets the demands of sustainability as well. The hospital is divided into three staggered main units that are naturally integrated into their environment and grouped around a central entrance and access zone. The curving lines and uncluttered design of the individual buildings as well as numerous green spaces and brightly lit interior courtyards generate a nature-inspired, appealing atmosphere.

A cutting-edge “health campus” with its very own character

The Thermenregion Baden Provincial Hospital combines first-class medical technology, top-quality planning and individual design. Together with the Provincial Nursing Home erected during the same period, the Provincial Hospital forms a synergistically organised health care centre.

Wellbeing through design. A hospital with a familiar, homey atmosphere.

In designing this hospital, we paid special attention to using stylistic elements that will ring a familiar, homey note for clients. This was motivated by the intention of forgoing the sterile “hospital” character for a feel-good atmosphere, where patients are above all viewed as human beings.
