The Best Care for Patients.

As the project’s general planner, Moser Architects re-defined the targets for the conversion and extension of the state-owned hospital in Mistelbach, Lower Austria: ensuring the best possible patient care while optimizing overall hospital operations and restructuring the building and its organization to meet the requirements of a modern health center. This was achieved by concentrating the functional units in one annex building, disentangling the circulation flows, relocating the main entrance and creating a park-like access area in front of the hospital entrance.

New Functions and Colorful Accents.

New functional units, among others, are a surgical and intensive care center, a family center, an interdisciplinary primary care and inpatient unit, care units for internal medicine and a day-unit for adult psychiatry. This guarantees optimal health care with all its necessary resources.
