Modelling of the building with reflexions required.
Due to the complex urban situation of this building site, especially in regard of the incidence of sunlight, a precise and exact modelling of the building is required, as reflected in lightwells and the set back upper floors.
The southern side of the building along side the Grinzinger Straße has a ventilated, horizontally structured limestone cladding. The other elevations have a thermal insulated facade system. The shell of the building consists of reinforced concrete columns and slabs, the foundation consists of waterproof concrete. The interior walls and recessed ceilings are made of plasterboard. The sloped rooves are covered with metal sheet and fiber-concrete cladding.
Complete removal and newconstruction.
The plot in the Grinzinger road was completely removed with a subsequent reconstruction of the building. Two shops, a surgery and 13 apartments have been accommodated.
