Architectural design oriented towards the surroundings.
The presidential administration of the Republic of Belarus intends to establish the Minsk Medical Center as a multidisciplinary institution for the prevention and treatment of a wide range of diseases. We developed an architectural design study based on the character of the surrounding recreational landscape with forests and a lake. For the medical center, wood became the central element. This resulted firstly in a uniform outward appearance and secondly in a harmonious response to the surrounding recreational landscape.
